Each weekend I prepare for the week ahead by reviewing the calendars on my iPhone and paper version, to make sure they both match.
Then I shuffle the cards to see what I can see, what meaning I can find for the week ahead.
In my mind I hold the question, “What wisdom do I need for this week?”
When it feels right, I lay out the cards, face down - first is Monday, second is Tuesday, and so on. When all seven cards are placed, I take the card on the bottom of the deck and place it face up; this card represents the underlying theme for the week.
