Why do we like to complicate things?
Guilty over here! 🙋🏼♀️ I’m likely in a state of anxiety, ambivalence, procrastination, or fear when things around me become complicated.
But this is a chicken and the egg scenario…
Is it because things are complicated that I become anxious, or has my mind created the complications because I’m anxious?
What do you notice about yourself when you’re feeling anxious, afraid, ambivalent, sad…? Are there repeated themes in your life that occur when you’re experiencing negative emotion…do your environments and others reflect your negative states?
What do you notice about yourself when the world around you appears to be filled with complications, distractions, annoyances, noise…?
Do you adopt the energy of a room, environment, others…regardless of whether that energy is negative or positive?
Adopting a Sweet & Simple Attitude
In life…when parenting…with exercise and meditation…for anything that requires us to act, engage, or participate…
When we can keep things simple, when we can allow ourselves to move into a state of surrender will cause us to…
flow into the right answer
walk the path of least resistance
open to our heart’s wisdom, our intuition
…we live a less complicated, sweeter existence…we live as our souls were meant to live…
connected to the internal knowing…
what is right for us in any given moment
caring for our loved ones
easily, gently, lovingly
pure essence, pure joy, pure bliss
connected to the internal knowing…
we are love…sweet and simple
Ebb & Flow…a practice of thanks
To flow quietly in gratitude…
What does this mean to you…to flow quietly? Can you define it? Can you experience it?
How does flowing quietly look in your life right now?
Do you take quiet time each day to breathe…to simply observe your breath?
Do you sit quietly and pray…ask for help, say “thank you” for your sweet blessings?
Of mind and memory
In this practice of giving thanks…repeating thank you, thank you during each inhale and exhale…
You allow the mind to work with the words…thank you.
You allow the mind, heart, intuition, memory, God to supply you with the images…loved ones, events, activities, pets, nature…all the things for which you are grateful float in and out as you breathe.
You allow the gratitude, in words and images, to flow in and out of your mind in this practice…and in return you feel soft, happy, kind, patient, loving, alive, abundant, grateful, at peace.
You fill your body, mind, spirit, and environment with gratitude…love…peace…for yourself and all that surrounds you.
You cause an energetic shift in mind, body, spirit, and environment to one of gratitude…love…peace…for yourself and all that surrounds you.
INHALE…thank you thank you
