An Offering
My dear,
The season of Thanksgiving is upon us
as dark days draw near
allow the memories of joyful yesteryears
times when all was easy, heart wide open
twinkles in eyes
skips in heart
sounds of magical bells…spirits, souls, dreams
remembered, not forgotten
appearances as they seem
float in and out of reality
what is real finds you
what is true needs you
what is purpose presents to you
all hope, fantasy, feeling
of what is yet to come
delivered to you on plate and platter
devoured with hungry heart
dusted off with friend and feather
once the table is set
join together in richness, satisfaction, stillness
offering thanks to all that currently is
to all that you are destined to dream
for through your gratitude, grace, and giving
all is sure to come
Thank you dear Lord for the words, wisdom, and silence…for the knowing that you inspired my words here, now, always.
A Joyful Home
Ten of Cups
Gazing softly at the card…Tapping in to your heart center or mind’s eye…Ask your Spirit…
What image, symbols, ideas or ideals, do I see within this card?
Who is present in this scene? Are they people I know?
Where are they?
What are they doing? Why?
How does this card guid me? What wisdom does it share?
How do I feel when I observe this card?
The suit of cups represent water, emotion, feeling, sensing. Can you close your eyes and picture yourself in a time similar to the one represented in this image? Where are you? Who are you dancing, rejoicing with? What stories, songs are you sharing with one another?
