Easing into a summer schedule
I’m trying to find some grace around publishing and just being…
Being home with our daughter.
For us, the school year just ended last week. So these are the first weekdays adopting a new, slower, and hopefully more intentional schedule. A softening of days, of time.
Reality is…we have six more summers where it’s a given that she will spend them with us. But beyond that, the sky is her limit, and our full, entire days with her will be limited.
That stings.
It’s hard for me to digest. Think about. It really does hurt the heart, my entire being.
But I can’t go there right now. Time will remain on my side for a while longer.
That said…my goal is to still send you something on Thursdays throughout the summer.
Short. Simple. Sweet.
That is my hope.
As I go through my stacks of journals of thoughts forming on the page, musings, diary writings and doodles, I’ll pull things already written on paper to share.
Your thoughts, feedback, comments…your own musings are always welcome. Just place a comment by clicking on the article, which will either take you to the publication webpage or will open up your Substack app (if you have an account).
For this week…I take you back almost five years…

This afternoon a hummingbird flew 5 feet in front of me, stared me straight in the eye, said “hello,” and flew off.
GNOSIS. SPIRIT.
SYNCHRONICITY. CONFLICT.
While there is great capacity for inner conflict to arise at any given moment…
We must always be aware of our inner knowing.
This knowing can deliver us to spirit, to the Divine within.
It exists in me. It exists in you.
Deep within, you know this…
Watch for events that occur, that cause you to think, contemplate, exclaim from your gut or heart space…
These events occur as gifts from the Divine…Your Spirit knows…
Pause.
Listen.
Know.
Smile.
Until next week…xoxo
