Welcome to the Moving into Spirit Podcast - Episode #19

Earlier this week I shared with you the article, Finding the Opposite (linked below), which offered you the considerations of…

  • observing or bringing an awareness to feelings, emotions, sensations, and thoughts you experience and where they live in your body, and

  • defining interoception and the practice of developing your interoceptive awareness.

In this podcast episode…

  • we explore what interoception is and what interoceptive awareness looks like to you,

  • you make your list of uncomfortable feelings, emotions, thoughts, and sensations and where you experience them in your physical body, and

  • you experience, through a guided, meditative practice, opposite sensations in your mind and body, such as hot and cold, anxiety and peace, noisy and silent, moving and still.

So here we go with your practice for this week! Place yourself in a quiet, safe, still space for the next 21 minutes as you begin to develop your interoceptive awareness around the sensations you feel in your body, and find ways to move into the opposite any time you feel discomfort.
